MCL is an independent, privately owned and limited company founded
in 1993. In 2003, the company was purchased by two former customers – Mike
Endean and Jeremy Leonard (Minffordd Consortium Limited, MCL) – and
was managed by a small team of existing staff until March 2009, when
Iain Falconer was appointed Managing Director. Iain’s task was
and is to take the company forward, developing new products alongside
redeveloping and upgrading existing lines. Moving towards a stronger
portfolio of services, the company is diversifying into new areas to
build on existing client bases.

Based on a total area of three acres with over 50,000 sq ft of production space on a purpose built site in north-west Wales, MCL employs a multi-disciplined and tightly integrated workforce. This comprises engineers experienced in electronics, product design, woodwork and associated materials who use applicable technologies to bring innovation with purpose to their work. MCL also has a core team of administrative staff who ensure relevant back office systems are in place and administered appropriately for the smooth and efficient running of the company.

We welcome visitors and operate an open door policy to our factory enabling clients to come and see us by prior appointment whenever they wish to.
Due to the sensitivity of some of the projects handled, we’re used to applying a high level of confidentiality to any contracts assigned to the company. What’s more, our secure and substantial site ensures any vehicles left in our charge will be properly cared for and kept safe.
Our vision
Our vision’s a simple but valuable one. It’s based on quality. It reads: “Every product we produce, convert or add value to and every service we provide should perform to the level where ease of operation/use and quality of output can be counted on”.
As a result of this vision MCL has been chosen as the company to work with and consult on many leading projects from both the public and private sector.
